Testing New Feature...

Well...new to me anyway. I just wanted to see how this shows up when posted via email and since I haven't posted anything personal in awhile...hmmm....what to write about....Ohhhh....I'll share my weekend with my Grandson with you. It rained here all day Friday, but luckily I had Breydon here to keep me busy. Breydon is my Grandson that was born on Christmas Day '08...so now he's a little over 4 months old...and cute as a button! It is so different being a Grandma....it's like there was this instant bond between us....I can calm him when he's fussy and he just naturally takes to me....it's me or "Daddy" (my son Preston) who is hyper and has little patience. ;) Breydon's Mama went on a trip with some friends from school, so Preston brought Breydon over and he and my hubby went fishing for most of the weekend, leaving me with the baby....which was awesome! We had some family members stopping in frequently to see him and we passed out his newest set of pictures...Mama is a bit of a picture nut...which is great! These they took with some friends...getting nature pictures with a horse saddle and rope....my favorite was one shows him laying in his seat looking up at about a 45 degree angle... like he's looking straight up to heaven...the smile on his face is so sweet....in the background is grass and the sun setting by an old barn....can we say WOW?!! My scanner is broke, so when I figure out how to get them on the computer, I'll share them. :) Okay....guess I needed to get that out, lol. I am so proud of Preston and Emma....they are doing a wonderful job as young parents...this little boy is so loved and it shows. This is the same Preston that I raised...and struggled with, especially during his teen years. I'm amazed at the changes I've seen in the last year as he prepared himself for parenthood.
